• Designed and built a large-scale approval workflow: users propose changes to other people's records in a dynamic AG Grid table, with field-level access enforced by permission rules.
• Architected expense reimbursement from scratch, with an AI receipt scanner, multi-receipt uploads, custom submission policies and approvals.
• Built AI-generated insights for employee performance reviews.
• Integrated with Slack so people can act on notifications and requests without leaving it.
• Worked on the innovation team, partnering closely with product and design.

• Helped build a notification tracking system that centralizes email, Slack, SMS and call logs, streamed through Kafka.

• Designed and built email and SMS notifications to improve customer engagement.
• Built secure, tokenized receipt sharing, so people without an account can open a specific page from an SMS or email link.
• Migrated legacy Angular pages to SvelteJS, following the design system.

• Built account services covering identity, authentication, KYC and compliance.
• Created a rule engine that drives app flows such as account completion, document verification and gated steps.
• Replaced Auth0 with our own OAuth2 service, running on ECS with auto-scaling.
• Designed event-driven systems for account creation, banking operations and notifications on Lambda, SQS, SNS and Step Functions.
• Moved CI/CD from AWS CodePipeline to GitHub Actions, and built a release tracker that links Jira issues to deployed builds.
• Set up the team's testing foundations with Jest, Mocha and Sinon, and mentored a junior developer.

• Helped build a nationwide invoice aggregation API that normalizes data from municipalities with inconsistent standards.

• Added a secondary Sidekiq queue to prevent job data loss, implemented OAuth2 single sign-on and built gems for internal APIs.
